OK, so, my collection of Monster cans is on the up and up. Haven't taken a census on the number yet, but I imagine it is around thirty.
Now, the purpose of these cans is still the subject of a mental debate. The front runner of this debate is there will be used as part of a performance that is a homage to Pink Floyd's performance of THE WALL, when a wall was constructed between band and audience, a comment on the segregated nature their performances had become: the division between band and audience.
Now, my performance would be me building the wall of Monster cans, a comment on the consumerism in music, which would then lead on to me playing a song on 78 spd vinyl, followed be two or three instrumental guitar tracks (live) then another song on vinyl. The wall, however, would remain in place until I came off the stage demolished it from the side of the view 'public'
Also, there is work to be on my film, 'Eric Fights Boredom'
The main sticking point at the moment is casting. It is one thing that I don't know how to go about doing, everything else I have experience with. On that note, I should mention that I have an idea who I want in each role:
Writer - Me
Director - Me
Sound - Duncan Craig
Director of Photography - Andrew Downie
Production Designer - Katy Mason
Editor - Me
Producer - anybody?
Anyway that does it for now, ciao
